Has responsibility for running a cash register which may include purchase transactions, refunds, gift cards, lottery, pharmacy, tobacco, wine and beer. The main purpose of this position is to service Lottery retailer locations in an assigned territory on /28530.txt pre-determined cycle and perform duties that corresponds with being state of maryland lottery job openings communicators with our retailer network.
Additional experience as defined above may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education. Supplemental Questions must be completed in order to submit application. The positions for this recruitment will have required job duties in Baltimore County or Prince Georges County.

Menu Menu. To visit Lottery agent locations in a specific territory on a pre-determined cycle and perform duties that corresponds with being front line communicators with our agent network. These duties include increasing revenue generating activities, promotions and lottery ticket sales, compliance maintenance of lottery laws, regulations and policies with integrity and efficiency. Must travel throughout a designated territory to ensure retailers are promoting Lottery sales activities while complying with licensing policies and procedures.
Must also recruit new Lottery retail locations, assist with licensing new retailers, and evaluate retailer’s licensing compliance. Additional duties include but are not limited to delivering point-of-sale materials to retailers, advising retailer’s on the effective display of point-of-sale materials, and conducting public presentations.
Notes: 1. Two years of sales experience involving servicing retailers. Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle.
